Win a FREE Classroom Theatre Rental
A New Student-Focused Initiative from Imagine Cinemas
We’re excited to introduce a brand-new student initiative launching across Ontario!
Imagine Cinemas operates 11 theatre locations across Ontario, and for the first time, we are launching a Classroom Giveaway Program designed to share the magic of the movies and powerful shared moments.
What’s the Opportunity?
One classroom per theatre location will win a:
- FREE private theatre rental
- Screening of any current movie playing in theatres
- A regular popcorn and regular drink for each student
This initiative is designed to provide a fun, memorable, and exciting movie-going experience for students and teachers alike.
How It Works
Teachers can nominate their class by:
- Completing a short submission form on our website
- Sharing a brief explanation of why their class should be selected
All submissions will be reviewed by our Head Office team, and a winning classroom will be selected per theatre location, 11 winners in total.
Program Timeline
This program will begin to accept applications starting:
- Monday, March 30th, 2026
Throughout the month of April:
- 11 classroom rentals will be chosen for an end-of-the-year field trip excursion
- Prize includes one (1) private auditorium morning rental for up to 30 people and one (1) Concession Combo (regular popcorn/regular drink) per student. Concession Combo can be swapped out for Kids Combo (small popcorn/small drink) upon request. Number of attendees includes students, teachers, EA/support staff & chaperones/parents. Any additional attendees outside of the 30 free admissions must pay for their admission and concession, if-desired.
With all 11 of our theatre locations participating, that means 11 FREE classroom rentals across Ontario!
This Initiative Aims To:
Storytelling is one of the most powerful ways we understand the world. Through film, stories have the ability to connect people, inspire, and spark imagination. They allow us to dream by showing us what’s possible, believe in new ideas, and learn by bringing complex experiences to life in ways that are memorable and meaningful.
Through this initiative, Imagine Cinemas aims to support educators, strengthen partnerships within our communities, and share the magic of storytelling with students on the big screen.
